40” long solid brass case with original glass in the window that contains a U. S. Navy Bu Ships World War Two Stick Barometer dated 1943.This is such an unique piece of American Nautical history. It was made by W. M. Welch Scientific Company Chicago, USA. It was a world known scientific company.The back of the case is Wooden so the item could be mounted to the ship. The stick remained level. Measures approximately 40 1/4” long by 5 1/2” wide by 5 1/4” tall.
